NSC Staffing is currently hiring for a CNC Set-Up Technician in Indianapolis, IN.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up Technician with expertise in both new and late-model manual machines to join our locally owned and operated shop. Our company specializes in producing high-quality parts for drag cars. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes and a keen eye for detail.
**Responsibilities:**
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of production.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC mills and lathes.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a CNC Set-Up Technician or similar role, with expertise in both new and late-model manual machines.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and CNC machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
**Hours:**
- Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
**Compensation:**
- Pay: $20-$30 per hour, based on experience.
