POSITION SUMMARY: As an Infrastructure Engineer at Think|Stack, you will understand both the engineering and architecture of systems and the building and coding of those systems. Your primary duties will include triaging, reviewing, responding, designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft cloud infrastructure solutions and client environments. You will ensure the stability of clients' infrastructure through problem-solving, building, engineering, and creating infrastructure, either from the ground up or adapting existing systems.

This role requires you to identify patterns and commonalities across networks and alerts. You will utilize industry knowledge to suggest and implement best practices. When faced with challenging tasks, you will have the experience to ask the right questions and ensure thorough construction and support of enterprise networks.

You should be a self-starter with the initiative to identify, investigate, and solve problems while balancing the internal security of Think|Stack and our clients. This role requires collaboration to create and maintain a strong security culture with human-centered design to achieve goals without sacrificing security.

Essential functions & responsibilities

Build and deploy AWS cloud or Microsoft infrastructure.
Complete migrations and implementation of various Microsoft services including Azure, 365 suite (Intune, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, AzureAD).
Execute code builds, deployment, automate testing, and continually seek better and more secure methods.
Provide expert technical assistance to customers and internal escalation, including support, configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting various systems, hardware, and software.
Promote and maintain exemplary customer service for all clients and internal staff.
Implement infrastructure solutions that increase the stability and resiliency of the physical and cloud footprint.
Utilize Terraform/Python to script and manage the infrastructure of Think|Stack and our clients.
Create and execute detailed project plans, implementing projects according to the charter and project plan.
Harden the configuration of devices and networks using best practices.
Take initiative to determine how a system should work and how changes will affect outcomes.
Report unresolved infrastructure exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.
Document all technical service request information, including knowledge bases, engineering details, specifications, and project documentation.
Develop professionally through education, certification, and mentorship programs.

Position Requirements

Associate degree in Technology, IT Engineering, or equivalent work experience and certifications.
3+ years of engineering experience.
2+ years of Microsoft experience.
Experience with 2-3 technology products or services at a subject matter expert level, including O365 Suite, AWS, Python, Terraform, and more.
Ability to correlate information and data between clients and alerts.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multi-step projects.
Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical clients.
