Join our Data Warehouse team and help MathWorks solve interesting business problems, design top notch analytics, and make well-informed decisions. You will immerse yourself in specific areas of the business like Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service. You will become an expert in business processes and the analytics needed to support them. You will work with the Data Warehouse development team to engineer, design, and code solutions to meet those analytical needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist MathWorks in our transition from an on-premise Data Warehouse environment to the Cloud.
- Immerse yourself in MathWorks day-to-day business processes to gain a greater understanding of the company and its analytical needs.
- Work in a collaborative team environment using Agile practices to deliver data solutions.
- Work with a variety of stakeholders to understand the business priorities.
- Identify, recommend, and develop process improvements to reduce waste.
- Communicate findings in a way that is easily understood. You will need excellent written and verbal skills in order to communicate complex ideas.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Experience in cloud computing.
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with Data Warehousing principles, Relational Database Modeling, Data Lakes, and Data Streaming.
- Experience with best practice design principles and approaches for cloud architectures like AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present findings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with large data sets and how to extract important metrics that drive business decisions.
- Ability to interpret data using statistical techniques.
- Experience with Agile Development processes.
- Experience creating user-defined functions.
- Experience with database platforms like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Experience with Data Warehousing ETL tools like Informatica, Data Services, DataStage, Talend, or equivalents.
- Exposure to Predictive Modeling and Text Analytics. Experience with MATLAB a plus.
