The most important thing we build is TRUST Overview CAES Mission Systems in Lansdale PA is seeking a Senior RF Engineer with proven skills in radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission design. This role is responsible to design, plan and oversee installation and maintenance of wireless radio communications systems, including radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, parameter definition and ancillary equipment. Responsibilities YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design RF circuits using simulation tools such as: Microwave Office, Visual System Simulator, HFSS, ADS Ability to work in a team environment Provide mentorship to less experienced Engineers. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; Test, tune, debug and optimize prototype circuits and components to meet specification requirements and manufacturing produce-ability requirements; write test procedures and/or software Troubleshoot the circuit in test bench and simulation Provide RF performance to System Engineering Partner with the organization in the scheduling of development projects, including process development, fixture design and implementation, material procurement and customer interface (design reviews); Assist Product transition from Engineering to Manufacturing, including writing Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) Qualifications Minimum: B.S. Electrical Engineering 5 years of experience working with RF Design 3 years of experience working circuit simulation software such as AWR/ADS/HFSS 3 years of experience understanding RF parameters: S-parameters, Noise Figure, Intercept point, Compression, Spurious and Phase Noise This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.
