Subsea Hardware Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years’ experience in the oil gas industry with subsea hardware design, manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance experience. Knowledge of upper completions, well intervention practices. Knowledge and application of Deepwater Engineering Design, Construction and Installation Standards and codes.
• Experience of working on West Africa Projects.
• Strong personal commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental Performance.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with client and contractor personnel.
• Ability to work proactively & independently.
• Shall have a track record of managing multi-national personnel within a major project environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee principal project offshore installation activities (Trees, manifolds, PLEMS etc.).
• Manage the subsea hardware inventory with all required maintenance and repair program ensuring all hardware are always in a ready for deployment state.
• Manage all field issues related to subsea hardware.
• Manage the Subsea workshop and all activities within.
• Coordinate between the OEMS, contractor, field team, and other 3rd parties.
• Actively engage in meetings to ensure expectations and plans are clear to all stakeholders.
• Act as a Subsea Authority within Management of Change system and undertake functional reviews as appropriate.
• Attend Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment where required.
• Provide coaching/mentorship to national and junior team members as necessary.
