Booz Allen is seeking a skilled VMware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows servers and Desktops, along with experience in managing Windows and automation. This role involves managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
As a VMware Engineer on our team, you have the chance to design Virtual machines in support of Booz Allen. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize our IT infrastructure. Grow your skills by merging system administration and best security practices to create a scalable and secure remote access system. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with VMware, vSphere 7 or 8, Active Directory Domain Services, and Group Policy
- 5+ years of experience with Server Management
- 5+ years of experience managing Windows, including server setup, deployment, and maintenance
- 3+ years of experience designing Server Rooms, including servers, networking, and storage
- 1+ years of experience with networking troubleshooting
- HS diploma or GED
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with troubleshooting web application support in authoring and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience with shell scripting or PowerShell and automation tools
- Ability to conduct independent research and apply solutions
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of strong problem-solving abilities
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
Work Model:
- If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
- If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
