Dean's Electrical and Construction business unit is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Tysons, VA to support a large electrical construction projects in the DC metro region.Key Functions:Processing submittals.Processing RFI’s.Keeping up daily work tickets.Posting RFI’s and change orders.Tracking and Price orders.Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.Documenting project issues/conditions.Maintaining organized and detailed project records.Submitting hours and cost codes.Obtaining permits, badges and access requests in advanceManage project library.Participates in KPR (Key Project Review).Required Qualifications:2 to 4 years of experience as a project engineer and Bachelor in Engineering disciplineExperience with change ordersExperience with take offsExperience with RFI submittalDesired Qualifications:Experience with Schedule Development / Managing (i.e Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)Experience with Excel, Word and Power Point Programs.Abilities:Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.Sitting for extended periods of time.Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.Identify and understand the speech of another person.Applicants for this position may be required to obtain or provide proof of flu shots or of other vaccinations depending on customer requirements and nature of the position or demonstrate a valid basis for exception.EOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/DisabledVEVRAA Contractor
