SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Foreman/ Superintendent is responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality work and safety.
Responsibilities:
Read and coordinate drawings associated with Architectural, Fire alarm, Mechanical, Structural, and electrical design.
Manage, evaluate and train field team members.
Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
Follow up with request for information and submittals provided by other trades involving the electrical system.
Create 2/3 weeks look ahead schedule for proper materials and manpower coordination to meet schedule.
Remain in compliance with current National and Local Electrical codes, life safety Codes, and OSHA safety compliances.
Manage and lead multiple crews including quality control and inspections to ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
Coordinate production and attend meetings with GC and other trades to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, Project manager during the progress of the project.
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
Must have 5-10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar electrical construction projects.
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.
Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, supervision, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Must have an active journeyman electrician license.
Applicant must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
