CNC Operator (Swing Shift)

Overview

Position Profile Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop modifications and recommendations for improvements to the work flow process
• Review production data to identify potential areas of nonconformance
• Implement modifications where necessary and prepare status reports
• Perform tests or quality checks on assembled units
• Fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
• Maintain logs and other necessary documents.
• Work independently with moderate supervision

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Desired Education, Certifications and Experience

• 2-4+ years manufacturing or related work experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or technical training or equivalent
