Our incredible client is looking for an Applications Engineer to join their team!
As the Applications Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration, deployment, and maintenance of power metering solutions for clients. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, supporting testing and configuration of unique solutions, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000
Location: Ashburn, VA (hybrid flexible)
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations, training, and presentations to customers and sales teams.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including system configurations, product specifications, and functional requirements.
- Assist in the design and implementation of system solutions that integrate our power management products with client operations.
- Provide feedback to product development teams on the practical aspects of the company’s products in the field.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to our products and systems.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards in all projects.
- Maintain a high degree of awareness about emerging technologies and their potential applications within our product suite.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, liaising with various internal departments.
Applications Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical or applications engineering, preferably in the power management industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, data acquisition, and energy management solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams and interacting professionally with clients.
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools and familiarity with programming languages commonly used in the industry.
- A keen problem solver with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
