For more information, click here .Role reports to: Hair and Scalp Packaging ManagerLocation: Skillman, NJ Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ , but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.Travel %: 10-20%Pay : $92-168kWhat You Will DoThe Staff Packaging Engineer role is a squad level role with responsibility for being the face of Package Development to the Skin Health Business. Skin Health Business consists of iconic brands such as Neutrogena, Aveeno and Lubriderm. Key contributions include resource assessment and evaluation for new products, due diligence and feasibility work for projects, and governance lead.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position will require authoring and approving specifications, documentation, package line trials and package testing to support product release.This successful individual will take a leadership role with packaging projects and possess the ability to influence with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.The candidate should possess the ability to pursue complex technical issues and innovative solutions in the areas of product, packages, process, mechanistic understanding and consumer insights.This individual should think and develop future strategies in key focus areas such as sustainability, e-commerce, and package innovation.This position requires in depth knowledge of materials and processes used in construction and manufacturing of cosmetic packaging (Extrusion/ Injection molding and Dispensing systems (airless, pumps))What We Are Looking ForRequired QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related Science field is required; Advanced degree is preferredAt least 6 years of proven experience in Cosmetic/Personal Care, OTC, Food or related industry is required.Solid understanding of a broad spectrum of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes is required.Experience in packaging line trials and package testing knowledge is required.Ability to partner and lead effectively across functions and functional levels is required.Technical Leadership skills are required.Supervisory experience and the ability to mentor and train talent within the organization is required.Experience leading multiple projects and activities at internal or external manufacturing sites is required.Ability to prioritize multiple constantly evolving priorities with minimal direction is required.A strong focus on sustainability and eCommerce packaging is required.Desired QualificationsProject Management skills are preferred.Strong technical writing/documentation skills are preferred.Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, draw conclusions, and generate reports that present sound data driven conclusions is preferred.SolidWorks/CAD, Abaqus, or other finite element analysis software tools to perform duties.What's In It For YouCompetitive Benefit PackagePaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays & More!Learning & Development OpportunitiesEmployee Resource GroupsTravel: This position may require up to 20% travel (primarily domestic and some potential international)Kenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
