Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the conception, estimation, and prioritization of ideas, with data-driven product sense.
2. Use full-stack web technology (Node.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) to develop MVPs and run experiments to validate ideas and iterate quickly, leveraging new technologies and tools when needed.
3. Adopt automated and manual test strategies to ensure product quality.
4. Learn and understand how TikTok product works and help build end-to-end solutions.
5. Learn and grow from working with great colleagues and taking on challenges.
6. Help our team grow from your expertise, experience, and perspectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related major, 2+ years of industry experience in a software development environment.
2. Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
3. Expertise in developing APIs, web applications, and related technologies: RESTful services, Node.js, JavaScript web frameworks.
4. Expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
5. Experience developing web services using Node.js.
6. Experience writing unit tests in JavaScript.
7. Experience using CI/CD environments.
8. Being open to working in an agile environment and actively cooperating with the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. E-Commerce Industry experience developing and implementing features and solutions.
2. Deep understanding of (and passion for) Web Platform: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, User Interface, and User Experience guidelines and best practices.

Job Information:

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $129200 - $194750 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
