SOFTWARE ENGINEER – REMOTE

At Metrea Mission Data (MMD), we are experts in missionising and disseminating data; combining vast amounts of disparate data to provide valuable insights and analysis for our customers. Our deep-rooted knowledge of Tactical Data Links and Secure Networking allows us to serve these insights to where they will have the biggest impact.
In 2024, MMD are expanding our remote team to continue the development of our Secure Networking product lines. We are seeking dynamic and highly motivated software engineers to join these established teams.
What are we looking for?
Our Ideal Candidate Would Be Someone With:
- 3-5 years’ experience of hands-on software development.
- Strong understanding and practical experience of React.
- Enthusiasm for team delivery in an Agile environment.
- Drive to learn constantly and further your knowledge.
- Strong organisational skills, proactive approach to task admin and docs.
- Great interpersonal skills, able to confidently communicate and articulate technical issues to non-technical team members.
In addition to the above, any of the following would be a bonus:
- Knowledge and experience working with C#.
- Having worked as Scrum Master or in another delivery management role.
- Experience working on geospatial visualisation products.
- Knowledge of git and source control strategies.
- A sound understanding of database manipulation.
- Scripting and test automation in the Azure DevOps platform.
Where will you be based?
This is a remote role, but ad-hoc visits to MMD offices in Malvern, Lincoln, Oxford or London will be required from time to time.
