Senior Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.

Will be responsible for:

1. Developing and executing sophisticated software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
2. Participating in software development projects from the early design stages and playing a meaningful role in driving to product release through testing.
3. Building automated test suites, developing test tooling and infrastructure for running automated tests, verifying bug fixes and conducting hands-on testing.
4. Providing feedback about plans for product and tool development.
5. Developing test strategies and procedures for new product features.
6. Writing test suites for new features using MATLAB and C++.
7. Interactively testing new features early in development to find bugs across multiple platforms, including UNIX/MAC/PC, MATLAB Online, and MATLAB Mobile.
8. Detecting, reporting, investigating, triaging, and tracking detected bugs using MathWorks’ bug tracking system.
9. Working closely with the multi-functional engineering teams including Quality Engineering, Development, Usability, and Documentation.
