Web Developer

Introduction

The organization's services provide timely development, deployment and administration of classroom and online training products. Products include SharePoint and websites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products for a community-wide client base. Project work will be performed within a team environment with defined roles and responsibilities following the organization-provided Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Work Requirements

• The Candidate shall provide the design, development and production of innovative and interactive web, video and multimedia products.
• The Candidate shall be responsible for product research, programming and authoring, interface design, testing and quality control.
• The Candidate shall provide video filming and edits, narrations, sounds effects, animation, music and interactive graphics using After Effects. These video products will be standalone or incorporated into multimedia products that support applications, software and/or training products.
• The Candidate Team shall work in a cross-functional team with Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), Course Directors (CDs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and marketing communication officers to determine how requirements are satisfied.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience with video recording and editing.
• Demonstrated experience in graphic design principles.
• Demonstrated experience with web development.
• Demonstrated experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects, XD, and Animate.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing web-based training products.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites.
• Demonstrated experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling or improving stability and performance of SharePoint Sites.
• Demonstrated experience filming and editing video narratives, sound effects, and music.
• Demonstrated experience with Section 508 user accessibility guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience consulting with customers to determine present and future user needs.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with clients and incorporating feedback into product design.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience working in a training environment.

• Demonstrated experience in both graphic and web development work.
• Demonstrated experience with building websites and e-learning training products.
• Demonstrated experience with the HTML 5 programming language, CSS, JavaScript, XML or jQuery.
• Demonstrated experience with, or knowledge of, web UI frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience defining, analyzing, tracking, and reviewing requirements.
• Demonstrated experience transferring data.
• Demonstrated experience with WordPress.
• Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Designer.
• Certifications:
  • UX/UI Ability
