Technical/Functional Skills

1. Minimum 6 years of Oracle PL/SQL development using Stored Procedures, Packages
2. Experience in debugging data reports from Oracle DWH
3. Data Analytical skills
4. Ability to communicate issues to Business users and find ways to resolving via code fixes.
5. Ability to build data lineage across various systems and complex ETL in legacy and modern technologies
6. Good understanding of P&C Commercial Insurance Regulatory and Reserving functions

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Oracle PL/SQL Development, Enhancement
2. Operational support for 1-2 weeks in a Month
3. Work with Business users understand customer’s business
4. Build Domain knowledge and correlate to all data layers till row, column level and the interdependencies, business rules (and resolve ambiguities between different data sources)
5. Build Data Quality as a practice as part of continuous improvement
6. Coordinate with end uses who are mostly Actuaries and their intermediaries
7. Migrate Oracle PL/SQL to Snowflake
