2HB Incorporated is seeking a Web Developer to support its government customer in Mclean, VA.
The US Government’s (USG) services provide timely development, deployment and administration of classroom and online training products. Products include SharePoint and websites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products for a community-wide client base. Project work will be performed within a team environment with defined roles and responsibilities following the Sponsor-provided Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Sponsor needs polished skills in concept development, execution and time management to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Work Requirements
- The Candidate shall provide the design, development and production of innovative and interactive web, video and multimedia products.
- The Candidate shall be responsible for product research, programming and authoring, interface design, testing and quality control.
- The Candidate shall provide video filming and edits, narrations, sounds effects, animation, music and interactive graphics using After Effects. These video products will be standalone or incorporated into multimedia products that support applications, software and/or training products.
- The Candidate shall work in a cross-functional team with Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), Course Directors (CDs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and marketing communication officers to determine how requirements are satisfied.
- The Candidate shall ensure 508 Compliant products and maintain customer websites.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience
- Demonstrated experience with video recording and editing.
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design principles.
- Demonstrated experience with web development.
- Demonstrated experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects, XD, and Animate.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing web-based training products.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites.
- Demonstrated experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling or improving stability and performance of SharePoint Sites.
- Demonstrated experience filming and editing video narratives, sound effects, and music.
- Demonstrated experience with Section 508 user accessibility guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience consulting with customers to determine present and future user needs.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with clients and incorporating feedback into product design.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience working in a training environment.
