We're looking for Military experience with radios or radar or ASEET with solid experience in component level troubleshooting and repairs. Basic electronic troubleshooting skills are key. Experience with DVMs, power supplies, soldering/de-soldering equipment and basic hand tools is essential. Computer skills include use of programs to control equipment (RS-232 and CAN), Work Order data entry and Microsoft Office products to document test results.
Test Equipment - Network or Spectrum Analyzers, DVM, power supplies and computers.
Hand Tools - Soldering iron, wire strippers, wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, screw drivers and crimping tools.
Soldering Skills - Surface Mount and Through Hole components; wire to board connections.
Electronic Experience - troubleshooting basic electronic components (transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors). Experience with high gain amplifiers, tuned circuits and RF components is beneficial.
