TECHNAMO is a niche, young & dynamic IT service provider, VA SWaM certified, Microsoft Cloud Certified Partner, focused on providing IT Solutions & Services to government and commercial companies.

Technamo is a Tier-I Contractor to provide IT Services to Virginia government agencies (70+ entities) and contracted to provide services to state government New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Delaware and Maryland government agencies.

Job Description

Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:

  • Responsible for the design, development, integrating and testing of new and existing applications using Agile methodology.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting production issues and providing quick solutions or work-arounds.
  • Participate with the development team in coding, analysis and support of multiple web-based applications.
  • Ensure that business rules are consistently applied across, to limit the possibility of inconsistent results.

Qualifications

Position Requirements: (Years of experience, certifications, software skills, etc.)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with IT related QA.
  • Experience using configuration management tools.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of software development and design best practices to deliver high quality results.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated, independent to work on assigned efforts and detail-oriented, as well as have the ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts and software.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Passionate about coding, problem solving and finding efficient ways to accomplish tasks on time.
  • Very strong analytical, design and programming skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Nice to have: (Skills that are nice to see on resume but not required)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with system administration.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket.

This is a full-time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
