Department Overview
The Chief Technology Office - Systems and Solutions Group incubates high-risk, high-reward projects leveraging Emerging Solutions, Venture investments, and existing MSI solutions. The candidate will join a talented team of engineers focused on 1) designing, prototyping, and developing solutions, 2) leveraging existing and new technologies, and 3) delivering a secure, fast, and scalable user experience.
Job Description
The CTO is looking for a Full Stack Engineer, with an interest in drone technologies for our CAPE Aerial Telepresence team in Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, multidisciplinary team with a critical skill set. You will directly contribute to the full lifecycle of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to frontend (Angular) and backend (Python/Django) planning, development, and testing.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to software architecture discussions.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, production environments, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience with backend technologies using Python, Django, JavaScript, Node.JS.
- Experience with web frameworks and languages such as TypeScript, Angular, or React.
- Familiarity with databases such as Postgres, SQLite, MySQL.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
A strong candidate may also experience working with:
- DevOps (tracking, pipelines) and Git (source control, code reviews).
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), writing and maintaining unit tests, and environment configuration.
Basic Requirements
Must be pursuing a minimum of a BS or MS degree with a graduation date of December 2024 or later.
