Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with 8+ years of database development experience, including a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL experience in creating database objects such as Tables, Stored Procedures, DDL/DML Triggers, Views, Indexes, Cursors, Functions, and User-defined data types.

Technical Skills:

  1. Strong PL/SQL experience in creating database objects like Tables, Stored Procedures, DDL/DML Triggers, Views, Indexes, Cursors, Functions, and User-defined data types.
  2. Expertise in using Oracle Performance tuning concepts with Oracle hints and the EXPLAIN PLAN tool.
  3. Strong experience using SQL and PL/SQL features like Built-In Functions, Analytical Functions, Cursors, Cursor variables, Native dynamic SQL, bulk binding techniques, and Packages/Procedures/Functions to process data efficiently.
  4. Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL).
  5. Sound understanding of RDBMS (Oracle).
  6. Experience with Oracle SQL Loader/External File Utilities to load files.
  7. Good to have experience with the Snowflake cloud data platform, including Snowflake utilities like SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and data loading within cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
  8. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills.
  10. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  11. Investment Management experience is a plus.

Process Skills:

  1. Ability to evaluate, analyze, design, and implement solutions based on technical requirements.
  2. Develop and peer review Low-Level Design (LLD) and participate in peer reviews.
  3. Strong design and technical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and analyze the impact.

Behavioral Skills:

  1. Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs.
  2. Participate as a team member and foster teamwork through inter-group coordination within the project's modules.
  3. Effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  4. Train and coach project group members to ensure effective knowledge management.

Qualification:

At least 8+ years of work experience is required.

Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college.
