Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the design center team in Taiwan regarding day-to-day activities and long term career development.
  2. Lead the development and verification of IP peripherals for BU products, including development of a brand new IP and integration of third-party IP.
  3. Lead chip level development of new product lines for BU.
  4. Define architectural enhancements to achieve customer goals for new product development.
  5. Lead development and verification of RISC-V microcontroller IP with unique customer features.
  6. Supervise the work of 3 employees: PMTS, IC Design Engineer; SMTS, IC Design Engineer; MTS, IC Design Engineer.

Requirements

This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and 10 years of work experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.

Specific Skills

Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Required expertise/ knowledge includes:

  • Development of product requirements and specifications.
  • Analyze and develop SoC architectures.
  • RTL design of block level IP.
  • Synthesis, STA, LEC and ATPG pattern generation.
  • Working with Product and Test teams to transfer ICs to production.
  • Write reusable RTL code, follow design and DFT guidelines.
  • Run digital simulations using industry standard tools.
  • C and Assembly code-based tests.
  • System Verilog for verification, OVM/UVM, assertions, cover points.
  • IC design experience.
