Cloud DevOps Engineer

INRIX is looking for a passionate and talented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, automating, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, with a particular focus on AWS services. You will also work closely with development and operations teams to streamline and automate processes, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of our applications.

As a critical part of our technology team, you will help us optimize our cloud-based environments and ensure smooth, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) across multiple projects. This position is based in Kirkland, WA, and follows a hybrid work model with four days in the office and Fridays as work-from-home (WFH).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management : Architect, design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, and ECR.
2. DevOps Automation : Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other relevant tools to support continuous integration and deployment.
3. Infrastructure as Code : Implement and manage infrastructure through code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring efficient and reliable infrastructure provisioning.
4. Monitoring and Optimization : Monitor system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other tools, optimize cloud environments for efficiency, cost, and performance.
5. Security Management : Manage IAM policies and roles, ensuring the highest level of security for AWS resources.
6. Collaboration : Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to integrate solutions and drive operational excellence across the entire software development lifecycle.
7. Scripting and Automation : Write scripts in Python, Shell, and SQL to automate infrastructure tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer or DevOps engineer.
2. Proven experience deploying solutions/applications in the AWS cloud environment.
3. Strong scripting skills with proficiency in Python, Shell, and SQL.
4. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
5. Familiarity with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, ECR).
6. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
7. Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch.
8. Experience with IAM policies and role management in AWS.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000-$180,000, including base salary and bonus. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. INRIX reserves the right to modify the pay range at any time.
