This job was posted by : For more information, please see: this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal and non-metallic parts by operating CNC Milling Machines.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, and live tooling.Optimize set-up times, maximize machine utilizationAbility to run CNC vertical mills/robo drillsUnderstand specifications of the tasks by reading blueprints, route instructionsExperience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments when neededSetup CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volume of parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and inspect parts with a high degree of precisionFollow the in-process part inspection process, and notify the Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance.Communicate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues.Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.Document all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shiftsCheck and perform preventive maintenance daily
