Technology Management Scientist and Engineer

Key Role:

Perform professional engineering and scientific support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with program or project management in a professional work or academic environment.

  • Ability to be team-oriented and integrate easily into a team with diverse technical backgrounds and expertise.

  • Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the DoD.

  • Ability to be a self-starter, take the lead, and provide support in a team role in a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary work environment.

  • Ability to be flexible and readily adaptable to change.

  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and respond to quick turn-around requests.

  • Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
