Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Software Systems Engineer to work for our company.
Summary:
- Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
- Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET clearance or higher.
- Will formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modify and maintain complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Will design, code, test, debug, and document those programs. Will provide overall operating system maintenance, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages. Will assist with all phases of software systems programming applications. Will evaluate new and existing software products.
Requirements:
- Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET clearance or higher.
- Must have one of the following certifications: CompTIA A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, CompTIA Network+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to attend in-person meetings within the Washington, D.C. area as needed.
Preferences:
- Located in Washington D.C., Virginia, or Maryland.
