Senior Software Engineer

Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES
- Add and maintain new payments features to our existing Payment Device products.
- Design and implement Android applications and services that provide best in class payment flow experience for customers.
- Troubleshoot issues spanning a wide range of device types.
- Take ownership of specific payment components.
- Work with international certification teams and test organizations.
- Work with product management to clarify and/or create specifications.
- Triage bugs related to payment applications and related infrastructure.
- Perform production support services as part of a regular on call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving software application development experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years in any job title involving software application development experience. Prior experience must include:
- Application coding with Java and Android.
- UI development.
- Development of Android platform.
- Working with databases and schema design.
- Working in an Agile development environment.
- Requirements gathering.
- Debugging Android applications.
- Working with 3rd party library integrations for Android.
