As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Business Systems Team plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home by prioritizing and assigning development and integration tasks, in addition to mentoring a small team of Developers.

As a remote Sr. Salesforce Developer at West Shore Home, you will contribute to this mission by delivering key products and tasks to the Business Systems Product Management and Support Teams.

What You’ll Contribute

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Authority to perform customization of the Salesforce.com platform using Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components.
  • Control to integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications using custom REST end points.
  • Ability to work within an Agile process to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Navigate and track development progression via Jira project management software from start to finish.
  • Authority to support and collaborate with Business System Support and Projects Team as needed for troubleshooting and changes.
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases.
  • Authority to help maintain the overall org health of our Salesforce environment and closely follow company policies for Change Control and Security.
  • Responsible to identify and prioritize code optimizations to ensure platform stability and availability within Salesforce limits.
  • Assist Project Managers in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
  • Mentor a strong team of Developers capable of supporting the needs of the business and characterize the values of West Shore Home.
  • Expected to travel up to 5% per year.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual in person attendance consistent with the ADAAA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • B.S. in an IT related field preferred, or High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification REQUIRED, Salesforce Platform Developer II PREFERRED.
  • 3+ years of experience with Force.com developer toolkit – Apex, VisualForce, Lightning and Aura, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs.
  • 3+ years working in a professional software development environment.
  • Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools preferred.
  • Experience with webhooks and web-to-lead functionality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities judiciously.
  • Strong commitment to customer service, employee efficiency, and company growth.
  • Experience mentoring other developers and recommending solutions to complex problems.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log in to Company required systems using two-factor authentication.

The guaranteed pay range for this position is $120,000 per year to $175,000 per year. The actual rate is based on each candidate’s skill set and will be determined by the Hiring Manager. This role is a salaried, exempt position that is not eligible for overtime pay.
