CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Pay: Negotiable - DOE (Depends on Experience)

The company is one of the oldest pump manufacturers in the United States. The company offers a wide range of products, including gear pumps, regenerative turbines, stamped stainless products, and mechanical seals. Additionally, it provides engineering and fire protection services.

Position Scope/ Responsibilites :

• Develop processes and programs for standardized machine setups for CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Produce CNC programs from part drawings using Mastercam software.
• Communicate schedule-related items to relevant departments, including operations, scheduling, planning/purchasing, supplier management, and quality assurance.
• Provide part cost analysis for new and existing parts.
• Develop production sequences/routings and work instructions for CNC machining.
• Support production personnel in creating and implementing standard work methods aimed at efficient use of work cell space, equipment, and product flow.
• Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes to improve process performance, machine utilization, and setup time reduction.
• Design fixtures and work-holding methods.
• Determine parts, equipment, and tools required to achieve manufacturing goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs First Article inspections, final inspection and testing of key units, and inspects all labeling and packaging of finished products
• Ensures consistent application of quality procedures and processes necessary for successful and compliant inspection of product.
• Inspects devices and identifies non-conforming material
• Cleans and inspects tray systems upon receipt from the field.
• Performs other duites as assigned.

Education and Background:

While a specific degree or job history is not required, the candidate must possess exceptional abilities in the following:

• Programming and operating CNC machinery.
• Clear communication and work organization.
• Proficiency in using technology, such as the warehouse management system.
