Job Responsibilities
The Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager has the following duties:
- Ensure the safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to the projects.
- Oversee field labor productivity and quality assurance.
- Manage project financial projections and reporting.
- Handle material and equipment procurement.
- Coordinate change order management.
- Maintain owner/client relations.
- Manage project cash flow and personnel.
Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs. Other duties may be assigned.
Compensation Range: $91,520 - $104,000
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Preferred Education and Experience
5-7 years of construction work-related experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
Computer Skills
Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs:
- Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint)
- Bluebeam Revu PDF editing
- Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software)
- Quotesoft Estimating Software
