Job Responsibilities

The Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager has the following duties:

  • Ensure the safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to the projects.
  • Oversee field labor productivity and quality assurance.
  • Manage project financial projections and reporting.
  • Handle material and equipment procurement.
  • Coordinate change order management.
  • Maintain owner/client relations.
  • Manage project cash flow and personnel.

Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs. Other duties may be assigned.

Compensation Range: $91,520 - $104,000

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

Preferred Education and Experience

5-7 years of construction work-related experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

Computer Skills

Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs:

  • Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Bluebeam Revu PDF editing
  • Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software)
  • Quotesoft Estimating Software
