Principal Member of Technical Staff, Development Operations, Cloud Engineering

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.As part of Oracle's employment process candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment screening process. Technical Skills 10+ years working experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environment, 5+ years as a systems engineer, systems architect, or technical lead.Very strong experience and knowledge in building user interfaces using ReactJS , AngularJS , NodeJS , HTML , CSS , Oracle APEX.Strong development experience using Ruby / GoLang programming languages.Experience with use, deployment, and development of cloud computing platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) / AWS / Azure is a must.Strong SQL , PLSQL/ NoSQL experience along with tuning and performance evaluation.Use, interest, and understanding of Containers using Docker and Kubernetes.Proficient in development and deployment of Microservices using SpringBoot , NodeJS , ExpressJS.Experience with streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka , Rabbitmq and Streams is a plus.Ability to convert conceptual architectures into functional applications and infrastructures end to end.Ability and experience mapping stakeholder needs into functional requirements.Knowledge and experience of understanding Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning is a plus.Strong ability to anticipate emergence at scale in complex systems.Operational on-call support experience on production, mission critical environment is a must, including hands on experience.
