My client a global communications organisation require an experienced Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in their newly created intelligence engineering team. The primary responsibility is to lead the newly formed engineering team, The application & team is in an early stage of development, therefore they are looking for someone who has a founder mentality and be in the driving seat.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of senior engineers, enabling them to do their best work.
• Actively contribute to the engineering decisions needed to advance their solutions, working side by side with engineers on the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and customer support, to align on product vision and deliverables.
• Drive the architectural decisions and lead the implementation of scalable, robust, and efficient systems.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Engineering manager, managing teams of >4 people.
• Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes and microservices infrastructure
• Demonstrable experience with AWS services, especially EKS
• Experience of Java
• Any exposure to Conversational AI or workflow automation frameworks would be a bonus
