Performs directed activities from Mentor Engineer (s). Assists in rework and remake documentation. Implements process changes and new work instructions.. Assists as directed in independent technical investigations involving the application of new process techniques and equipment. Helps consolidate results of major process evaluation/modification projects. Responds to non-routine or critical conditions and situations. Provides technical guidance and/or training to lower-level staff. Completes 18-month Emerging Engineering Program.
Assures implementation of process control parameters and procedures to improve operational or process methods. Maintains and completes a variety of chemical or mechanical tasks (hands on) supporting manufacturing, as directed.
NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical or industrial engineering is preferred, or must be fully experienced in activities related to chemical or metallurgical lab operations normally acquired through two years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or two years printed circuit board manufacturing experience . Must possess well-rounded lab and statistical process control knowledge and good communication skills. Must complete 18 Emerging Engineering program.
