Configure Tek is seeking a ServiceNow Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering on sales within sales territories. To be successful, one should have prior experience designing and selling cloud-based solutions, specifically ServiceNow. The ServiceNow Sales Engineer will develop, manage, and own customer relationships across organizations that would benefit from our cloud service expertise. This person will work closely with key partners as well as delivery colleagues.

Locations: Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately forecast and deliver on sales within sales territories.
  2. Build strong working relationships with partners to collaboratively serve the needs of current or potential clients.
  3. Co-plan and execute account plans across the company’s customer base.
  4. Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities within sales territories or market segments.
  5. Gather client business and technical requirements, identifying consulting solutions around those specific needs.
  6. Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations.
  7. Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations.
  8. Add industry-specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process.
  9. Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to board level.
  2. Strong selling and negotiation skills.
  3. Ability to communicate with the client and articulate back for solution.
  4. Experience working with consulting services, technology products, competencies, solutions, and offerings.
  5. Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications.
  6. Ability to demonstrate the ability to discover and meet client’s needs through an iterative, solution-oriented approach.
  7. Ability to solve practical problems and possess strong analytical skills.
  8. Willingness to travel.
