A well-established Washington-based firm is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive civil engineering site design experience, with proficiency in stormwater modeling. You will collaborate with clients and team members in preparing designs, specifications, and calculations for many different needs, including site development, road, stormwater, and utility improvements. This role works on a wide range of projects, including K-12 schools, higher education, municipal buildings, stormwater retrofits, parks, and healthcare facilities. This is a long-term, direct-hire role with our client located in Seattle, WA.
Pay range: $95,000 - $123,160

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, designing, and directing all phases of complex civil engineering projects on a variety of project types (local road, erosion/sediment control, and stormwater improvements, including grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water, etc.)
- Oversee civil engineering designs, specifications, and calculations for a variety of complex projects
- Collaborate with team members and clients on site development
- Provide consulting expertise to clients on civil engineering matters
- Work on a wide range of projects that include residential subdivisions, master plan communities, and large industrial developments
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required
- PE license required
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience required
- 5+ years of experience directly relevant to role required
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
- Knowledge of stormwater modeling using WWHM, MGS Flood, and other software required
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
- Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
