Sr. Robotics Software Engineer
LUUM is building a new robotic system for autonomously applying eyelash extensions directly to the eyelashes of a human client. We’re looking to expand our team to complete a fully superhuman fourth generation AI driven robot. Our first-generation system has been in use at our Lash Lab in Oakland, CA for two years and is in use at an Ulta beauty location. The systems feature an array of highly customized actuation and machine vision – both classical and neural network based – to precisely manipulate and attach the tiny extension fibers onto natural eyelashes. In more than six years of development, we’ve assembled many of the pieces of this difficult puzzle – enough to provide real services to paying customers – and now we’re looking to expand our team to complete a fully superhuman fourth generation system. Come join our team if you’re interested in working on a concrete physical application of robotics and AI for use in the real world. Please follow us on social media to learn more.
