We're looking for a Kubernetes expert who will play a key role in designing and managing multi-tenant on-premises Kubernetes clusters. This role is vital to our client's mission of building a secure, scalable, and isolated environment that supports various teams and workloads. You'll work on complex problems in container orchestration and cluster management while collaborating with infrastructure teams, developers, and security professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Tenant Kubernetes Cluster Design and Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and manage multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters with a focus on tenant isolation, security, and performance.
- Implement RBAC policies, network segmentation, and resource limits to ensure secure and efficient use of resources.
2. Security and Compliance:
- Lead security efforts in multi-tenant environments, including vulnerability management and secure image deployment.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
3. CNCF and Open-Source Engagement:
- Engage with CNCF projects and adopt open-source tools to enhance Kubernetes operations and security.
4. Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure Kubernetes environments meet security policies and regulatory requirements, and enforce best practices for container management.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes at scale, focusing on multi-tenancy, security, and networking.
- Strong knowledge of CNCF tools (cert-manager, Kyverno, FluxCD, ArgoCD, Envoy) and their deployment.
- Proficiency in Golang or Python, with a preference for Golang.
