At Infinity, WE ARE MORE – now, come be more with us!Position OverviewInfinity Systems Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Remote Site Technician apprentice supporting the GEARSS II contract at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Remote Site Technician will provide daily organizational maintenance and logistic support for the Global Positioning Satellite System tracking station at CCSFS with occasional on-call support required.Minimum QualificationsAnalytical troubleshooting skills in order to resolve problems at a basic organizational levelBasic knowledge and understanding of computers, software, and hardwareProper use of general tools, such as screwdriver, wrench, grease gun, and hand drillComfortable working at heights, wearing a harness, lanyard and other climbing safety gear as requiredFluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to perform additional duties such as Site Safety Representative, HAZMAT Coordinator, Corrosion Control Program, Restricted Area Escort, Facility Manager, Fire Warden, and others as requiredAbility to perform Remote Site Technician duties (position certified within 3-6 months)Ability to support on-call responsibilities during off-shift hours with response times less than 1 hourPreferred Qualifications1-3 years of experience working on Government installations with varying security posturesUse of Technical Orders and other official publications and directives in order to perform scheduled and corrective maintenance proceduresBasic understanding of supply systems, performing inventories, and replenishment in order to maintain required levels of supply spare parts on-handEducation/ExperienceAssociates degree or in lieu of a degree, equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceClearance RequirementSecret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret ClearanceInfinity BenefitsGreat Company Culture.
