Job Overview:
We are a leading supplier in the consumer product industry, specializing in the manufacture of uniquely designed, patented containers and accessories. We're seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication: Machine components and prototype molds and tooling in a fast-paced environment.
- Development Support: Assist with new product development and various engineering projects.
- Problem Solving: Identify process and equipment issues and recommend solutions.
- Implementation: Execute solutions, collect and document data, and verify results.
- Versatility: Perform any other tasks assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Expert mold welder with experience in H13, 420SS, Aluminum, BeCu, etc.
- CNC programmer/CNC machine operator experience.
- Proficient in writing CNC programs using CamWorks or Mastercam.
- Extensive knowledge of CNC mill (exclusively Hass VF-1).
- Skilled in operating manual lathe, manual mill, and surface grinder.
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Understanding of machine tool operating cycles and controls.
- Knowledge of material cutting and removal theory, machine utilization, and NC/CNC controls.
- Experience with Solid Works Design software is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a drug-screen.
- Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively.
- Capable of creating setups/fixtures for machining various parts and materials.
- Able to work independently on projects from start to finish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding complex part and assembly drawings.
- Experience with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Welding experience.
- Capable of standing 8-10 hours/day and lifting up to 50lbs.
- Eyesight correctable to see small objects.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining intricate job-related processes.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000 - 95,000 per experience
