QSimulate is building a world-class team to accelerate scientific discovery. Our platform provides paradigm-shifting quantum-mechanics-based tools for scientists worldwide. These tools are being used in such areas as Drug Discovery, Materials Design, and AI.
We are looking for a scientific software developer to combine quantum mechanical simulation with AI to solve problems related to materials science and pharmaceuticals.

Role

In this role, you will contribute to QSimulate’s infrastructure that serves clients, staff scientists, and software developers to make it more robust, efficient, and user-friendly. Your responsibilities would include:

  • Combine simulation with AI to solve problems in computational chemistry and materials science.
  • Develop algorithms for emerging quantum hardware.
  • Use cloud-based computing resources to perform high-quality simulations of unprecedented size.

Qualifications

  • PhD in computational/theoretical molecular science or a related field.
  • Experience with scientific software development.
  • Programming experience in Python and C/C++.
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
