CNC Machinist Temporary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift in Fridley, MN. This role requires expertise in setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, as well as inspecting parts with precision tools. Location: Fridley, MN
Wage: $27 - $29/hr.
Hours:

• 3 pm - 1 am, Monday - Thursday
• Temporary between 1 and 3 months

Duties of the CNC machinist:

• Setup and operate CNC Mills and Lathes
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers
• Perform edits using G&M Code
• Upload existing programs to machines
• Affix tooling and perform setups for production
• Ensure quality control of produced parts

Requirements of the CNC machinist:

• 2+ years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation
• Degree or certificate in Tool and Die, Machining, or Machine Tool Technology
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
