Associate Frontend Software Engineer

Dearborn, MI (hybrid)

$65,000+

Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Start Date: November 12th, 2024

As an entry-level Software Developer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you’ll be joining a team that is centered around supporting, customizing, and improving consumer experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or having earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Proven experience using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for web scripting
  • Proven OOP development experience (preferably Java)
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles
  • Preferred: Understanding or experience with building APIs; Passion for customer experience (CX) and delivering customer value (CV)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define, design, develop, deploy and support services and applications alongside senior engineers using ReactJS, NodeJS, Google Cloud Platform, and other technologies.
  • Engage business stakeholders to identify challenges and create innovative technical solutions
  • Work alongside technical experts to provide sustainable, future-facing software solutions
  • Ensure functional & non-functional quality and on-time delivery using agile and lean principles
  • Adopt extreme programming practices (paired programming, mobbing, TDD, CI/CD)
  • Collaborate and code with senior engineers to understand the requirements of the project and develop solutions, which meet those requirements.
