As an entry-level Software Developer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you’ll be joining a team that is centered around supporting, customizing, and improving consumer experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing or having earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Proven experience using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for web scripting
- Proven OOP development experience (preferably Java)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles
- Preferred: Understanding or experience with building APIs; Passion for customer experience (CX) and delivering customer value (CV)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define, design, develop, deploy and support services and applications alongside senior engineers using ReactJS, NodeJS, Google Cloud Platform, and other technologies.
- Engage business stakeholders to identify challenges and create innovative technical solutions
- Work alongside technical experts to provide sustainable, future-facing software solutions
- Ensure functional & non-functional quality and on-time delivery using agile and lean principles
- Adopt extreme programming practices (paired programming, mobbing, TDD, CI/CD)
- Collaborate and code with senior engineers to understand the requirements of the project and develop solutions, which meet those requirements.
