Software Engineer
Who We’re Looking For:
MyHealthTeam is seeking a software engineer to join our Development Team. You’ll be part of a small, agile team building and managing the fastest growing social networks for people living with chronic health conditions. Our tech stack is built around Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, Foundation/jQuery, and MongoDB running on AWS. We’re looking for developers with some experience in any of these core technologies and a readiness to learn and grow in others.
What You Get To Do Every Day:
- Collaborate with the Development Team to build and manage MyHealthTeam’s social networks
- Keep an agile and test-driven mindset
- Be an all-rounder who can work as a full stack developer or manage our production AWS environment
What We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or math, or the equivalent professional experience
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, JavaScript, CSS/Sass, jQuery, or AWS
- Familiarity with TDD/BDD
- A love for clean code
- Motivation to work on projects that make a difference for people with chronic health conditions
Skills That Aren’t Required, but Definitely a Plus:
- Experience with ZURB Foundation and Elasticsearch

Expected Salary Range: $100,000 — $170,000
