Position Summary
The Sensonix IC design team, specializing in full custom IC solutions for industrial sensing applications, is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated engineer to join our team. This hands-on role focuses primarily on IC design support and validation.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work in a multi-discipline team environment to test and verify IC designs
  • Evaluate IC design performance to ensure specification are met
  • Design PCBs to extend the capabilities of new and existing test equipment
  • Participate in IC and Test documentation
  • Provide work direction to Technicians as necessary
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to complete assignments
  • Provide ongoing support to existing Sensonix IC designs
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a team environment
  • Two years of relevant experience
Preferred
  • Experience automating equipment for custom test platforms using interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, and GPIB(IEEE-488)

    • SMUs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and function generators
  • Experience with NI LabVIEW and TestStand or similar (Hp/Agilent/Keysight VEE)
  • Experience with IC test platforms like the ASL 1000 or Eagle ETS-300
  • Data analysis and presentation skills utilizing spreadsheets and graphs
  • Programming of microcontrollers in C or other relevant languages
  • Experience with pulsed LED and Laser based measurement applications
  • Experience with electronic design tools (Schematic editor, SPICE, etc.)
  • Analog / small signal electrical design
  • Familiarity with IC design software (Cadence Virtuoso, Tanner IC)
