Construction Project Engineer - Electrical

The Construction Project Engineer - Electrical is responsible for assisting in the management of transportation construction projects within the electrical construction industry. This role involves working on various projects for federal, state, and municipal clients across the United States. The Project Engineer supports senior project management professionals by preparing plans, specifications, and providing general project assistance.

Essential Functions

• Interpret construction drawings
• Review plans and specifications and prepare a checklist of contract features
• Assist with cost estimates and project scheduling
• Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports
• Promote safety in construction operations
• Inspect equipment, material, and workmanship

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of construction or general construction experience for Project Engineer I
• 3-5 years of construction or general construction experience for Project Engineer II
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
