Full Stack Developer

About the Company:

Univers Bazefield is looking for full stack software developers to join its US product development team, preferably in Philadelphia, PA or San Diego, CA. Remote employees will be considered as well.

The candidate for this job role will:

• Design, develop, and write tests for new features in the Bazefield platform
• Address scalability and performance challenges for a rapidly growing user base
• Support existing features with bug fixes and performance improvement
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to scope and design features
• Communicate technical work through documentation

Technologies we work with:

• Front end: Vue JS (html/css/javascript)
• Back end: C# .NET, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, OS: Windows server
• Other: Operations technology protocols such as OPC, Modbus, DNP3, IEC104

In Univers Bazefield our software development team:

• Works directly with renewables industry experts to define and create the best tools in the industry
• Ships software that directly addresses pressing customer needs and goes into production within weeks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience in software development including a major object-oriented language, relational databases, and front-end technologies
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in technology for energy or industrial customers

Prior experience improving SQL database performance and scalability
