“A Day in the Life”
Located at the Corporate office in Livermore, California and reporting to the Enterprise Manager, the Network Engineer is a key member of the Information Technology Team. The successful candidate will combine the following talents:
“What You’ll Do”
- Assists in the installation and maintenance of network communications, configuring various network devices and services.
- Troubleshoot network issues within established guidelines.
- Assist with network architecture, optimization, and cost management.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills and desire for continuous improvement and learning.
- Promote an environment of excellent internal and external customer service.
- Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-FI and security infrastructure.
- Time management.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
“Must Haves”
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network equipment.
- Experience with carrier installations and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment to see projects through to completion.
- Proven dedication to internal and external customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Able to use sound and accurate decision making skills.
“Nice to Haves”
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related major preferred.
- CCNA or CCNP Certification.
