“A Day in the Life”

Located at the Corporate office in Livermore, California and reporting to the Enterprise Manager, the Network Engineer is a key member of the Information Technology Team. The successful candidate will combine the following talents:

“What You’ll Do”

  • Assists in the installation and maintenance of network communications, configuring various network devices and services.
  • Troubleshoot network issues within established guidelines.
  • Assist with network architecture, optimization, and cost management.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills and desire for continuous improvement and learning.
  • Promote an environment of excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-FI and security infrastructure.
  • Time management.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.

“Must Haves”

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network equipment.
  • Experience with carrier installations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment to see projects through to completion.
  • Proven dedication to internal and external customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to use sound and accurate decision making skills.

“Nice to Haves”

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related major preferred.
  • CCNA or CCNP Certification.

The specific pay rate and level, if applicable, will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location.
