Primary Duties:
Program and set up CNC Mills, and Lathes.
Set up jobs and edit CNC programs to optimize the manufacturing process to reduce cycle times and setup time while maintaining part accuracy.
Proficient in CAD/CAM Software Systems. CAMWorks Preferred.
Assist In Fixture/Tooling Design.
Interpret and understand part drawing specifications, materials, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect and verify the dimensions of the workpiece for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as templates, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks.
Must have machining applications and part processing experience.
Work directly with the Engineering Department.
Work and Communicate well with others.
Other duties as specified by Management.
General Requirements:
Min 5 years of relevant experience.
Good work ethic.
Dedication to detail.
Punctuality and self-motivation.
The job may require work outside the normal workday which is 6:00 am-4:30 pm. Monday-Friday.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Read and interpret component drawings, layouts, sketches, or other specifications to determine the most efficient way to process jobs.
Selects tooling, cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut to process the job most efficiently.
Measure parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
Other requirements may be added in the future as the market dictates.
