A rapidly growing IPP (95 people globally) that has coverage across the US for utility-scale storage projects. With an exceptional reputation in the industry, they are now expanding their US operations further having been operating in the US for the last 2 years.With a substantial pipeline of projects in both the early and delivery phase, our client are actively looking to grow their Engineering team and expand across multiple regions including ERCOT, CAISO & WECC .This opportunity will work closely with the Development function ensuring their internal processes are streamlined when it comes to the engineering aspects of the project. This role will be a crucial part of their leadership team and will provide an opportunity for quick and frequent progression within the company's internal structure.
Job Description
The Senior Manager - Electrical Engineering will be responsible for:

• Engineering support during the Development of BESS projects in ERCOT, CAISO and WECC.

• Assist in the sizing of the BESS.

• Create BESS layouts.

• Create BESS single line diagrams.

• Specifications for Balance of Plant (BoP) Contractor, Equipment Technical Specifications.

• Design drawing reviews.

• Engineering support during Delivery.

• Help with engineering post construction phase.

• Work with the local Utility to ensure grid connection is achieved.

The Successful Applicant
The Senior Manager - Electrical Engineering will have:

• 5+ years Engineerign expeirence on BESS projects, ideally in ERCOT.

• Substation design experience.

• Scope/Technical writing experience.

• Design Management experience.

• Exposed to commercial negotiations.

• Mentoring experience
