Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in setting up the environment for a big data platform from scratch.
- Experience with containerized applications and cloud deployment.
- Technical and people leadership to gain trust and respect of the engineering team.
- Excellent working knowledge of Python, Java, and Scala.
- Working knowledge of Spark and SparkSQL.
- Experience with NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra.
- Familiarity with Azure managed services will be a plus.
- Experience in working with global engineering teams in multiple locations will be a plus.
- Hands-on solution-driven attitude, with the ability to provide tactical solutions and deliver strategic capabilities for various needs.
- Working knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality Management in a big data platform.
